Centuries ago this historic property, located in the center of the old town of Fažana, only miles away from Pula, was a “relais” for sailors and olive oil merchants crossing the sea. It was then left abandoned for more than 50 years, before it was discovered by it’s new owners who recognized its true beauty and splendor and had the vision to rediscover its beauty and charm for all to see and enjoy. After a long and challenging restoration, this 16th century stone palace was successfully transformed into a small and cozy boutique hotel for guests of refined taste and admiration for history and culture to come and relish in. The Restoration was executed with great attention to every detail, using traditional materials such as natural stone, aged wood and forged iron to preserve and honor its exceptional character and Italianate historical roots. This humble palace offers a calm and inviting atmosphere, enclosed within its meter thick walls from the 16th century, only 20 meters from the sea, in the center of this quaint and charming fisherman village.
